Surface design and art quilts are Paulette’s passion. Using mixed media including her photography and digital designs on her computer and iPad, she prints on a variety of fabrics. Her work often explores colour, texture and shapes in nature. It is often minimalist and usually abstract and/or surreal. The beauty of shapes, imperfections, textures and colours of the Pacific Northwest continue to be thematic in her work. Through her quilting skills she adds texture and design sometimes resulting in various types of installations.
